When reporting a problem, please include:

• Your iOS version and device model (e.g. iPhone 13, iOS 18).
• The VeePy version (Settings → About).
• What you were doing and what happened.
• A screenshot if the issue is visual.

We do not collect any diagnostics automatically (see our Privacy Policy), so the detail you provide is what we have to work with.

Frequently asked questions

Does VeePy run Python on my device? Yes. Python runs entirely on your iPhone/iPad — no server, no internet needed to execute your code.

Can the AI assistant write and run code for me? The AI assistant is explanatory only. It can read code you share and explain or suggest, but it does not run code and has no “apply” button — you stay in control and copy anything you want to use yourself.

Which AI providers are supported? You bring your own API key. OpenAI works on the free tier; Anthropic and OpenRouter are available with Pro, along with any custom OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Before VeePy sends anything to a provider for the first time, it asks for your consent and names that provider.

Where are my API keys and passwords stored? Only in your device’s Keychain (Apple’s encrypted store). They never reach us — we have no server.

Does git over SSH work? Git remotes use HTTPS with a personal access token. For interactive shells and remote files, use the dedicated SSH and SFTP features.

What’s included in Pro? The Pro subscription unlocks the scientific Python runtime (NumPy, pandas, matplotlib, and more), iCloud Drive folder linking, SFTP file access with local caching, and the Anthropic and OpenRouter AI providers. There is also a Tip Jar if you’d just like to support development.

How do I restore a purchase? Settings → restore purchases, or reinstall and use Apple’s standard “Restore”.
